Wk Beg 8th Jan

This week we are continuing with the story 'The Three Little Pigs.' We will be making houses out of junk modelling, making paper plate masks and retelling the story using small world. 

 

In drawing club, we will be introducing new vocabulary such as sinister, cowering, sturdy, hair raising. We will be drawing the the wolf, the pigs house, a gadget to help destroy the house and catching the wolf and making him into a pie. We will be using our code words and passcodes to make funny things happen.

 

In phonics, this week we will be learning the sounds oa, oo, oo, ar, or . 

 

In maths, we will be representing numbers from 0-5 using objects to represent numbers,1 more and 1 less to numbers to 5 and ordering numbers 0-5 on a number line.
