This week we are focusing on fireworks. We will be making some different firework paintings and firework biscuits. We will be finding out why we celebrate Firework night. We will also have a vets where the animals can come and get weighed and looked after if they are poorly.

 

We are also extremely excited for Drawing Club. We will be reading the story Meg and Mog and learning new words such as concoction, transformation, sprinkling, permanent, explosive, untoward. We will be attempting to write a cvc word to make funny things happen to the characters and settings.

 

In phonics, we will be learning the sounds h, b, f and l and the tricky words I, is, to, the, no, go, has, his, as, of, into. We will continue to write our names and this week and practise our handwriting.

 

In maths this week, we are continuing working on 1,2,3 and 1 more and 1 less. We will be potion making using up to 3 ingredients. We will also be learning about circles and triangles and drawing shape pictures with these shapes.
