Maths

Yr 4 - We will be learning how to translate on a grid and then describing translation on a grid.

Yr 5 - We have come to the end of our Maths curriculum so we are now revisiting different areas of the curriculum that we found tricky.

Literacy in Ash

We will be creating our own animal for the Tin Forest and begin to write a non chronological report about their newly discovered creature in the forest. We will revisit the features of a chronological report such as present tense, technical vocabulary and the 3rd person pronouns.

Literacy in Maple Class

We are writing our adverts this week using persuasive writing and rhetorical questions.

Geography

We are wrapping up our learning this week and completing tasks using our skills that we have been learning this week.

Science
Yr 3 - We will be exploring different forces and friction.

Yr 4 - We will be interpreting food chains.

Yr 5 - We will be learning how to separate materials using the methods of sieving and filtering.

RE

Our key questions for RE this week are:

  • What does the Bible say about the Kingdom of God?
  • What clues do Jesus' parables give about what the Kingdom of God is like?

DT

We will be making bookmarks using binca and threads. We will be learning how to use different stitches.  We will research different stitches that we can use and then design our bookmark before making it.
