Tuesday is transition morning where the children will be with the teacher they will be with in September.

SWIMMING  FRIDAY AND POSSIBLY THURSDAY (There may be a chance to swim on Thursday so bring your swimming kit in case)

P.E  TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY

 

This week we are reading and writing about the story 'The Hungry Caterpillar'. We will be retelling the story each day and making our very own little books. 

 

The children can also complete funny minibeast challenges and write some sentences for a sticker.

 

In phonics, this week we will be continuing with Basics 4. We will be reading and writing words with more than 3 sounds such as clown, creep, steep, float etc.

 

In maths, we are learning to make bridges using different materials. Can we measure how long they are? Which is the strongest bridge? We will be adding numbers together and playing a hoop game, making repeating patterns, drawing a map of our journeys to school. What do we pass?
