THURSDAY CHAMPS HILL

SWIMMING TUESDAY AND FRIDAY

 

This week it is Arts Week we will be storytelling and using large rolls of paper to do some mark marking. We are also lucky to be going to Champs Hill on Thursday for a whole school trip.

 

In drawing club, we will be reading 'The Giant Jam Sandwich'. We will be drawing the wasps, thinking about what we would make to attract the wasps, drawing a vehicle to move the bread onto the field.

 

We are also be writing about our trip to Pulborough Brooks writing about what we enjoyed and what we did and writing facts about different minibeasts.

 

In phonics, this week we will be continuing with Basics 4. We will be reading and writing words with 4 letters polysyllabic cvcc words such as children and sandpit.

 

In maths, we are learning about the composition of numbers to 10, subtraction facts to 5 and number bonds to 10.
