Wk Beg 13th Jan

This week we will be reading 'The Magic Porridge Pot'  In drawing club we will talking, drawing and writing magic codes for The Old Lady, where the little girl lives, magic potions/spells and the party and who they will invite. Our 'get up, stand up' words are enchanted, conversation, despair, gloopy. 

 

We will be making houses, stoves and porridge pots out of junk modelling. We will be retelling the story around the classroom. 

 

In phonics, this week we will be learning the sounds /z/ /zz/ /qu/ . 

 

In maths, we will be representing numbers from 0-5 using objects to represent numbers,1 more and 1 less to numbers to 5 and ordering numbers 0-5 on a number line.
