We've got a busy week. Its performance week!! We will be performing our school play on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. 

Literacy in Ash

We will put the finishing touches to our no chronological reports on volcanoes.

Maths

Yr 4 - We will spend the week consolidating what we have learnt over the past term.

Yr 5 - We are almost at the end of our Fractions units. This week we will be subtraction from a mixed number - breaking the whole and subtracting two mixed numbers. 

Science

Yr 3 - We will be starting a new unit on Rocks. We will begin to looking at and identifying different types of rocks.

Yr 4 - We will be planning and setting up our evaporation investigation and then make observations over the next few days.

Yr 5 - We wlil be learning about global warming and the impacts it has on living things. 

Geography

Y4: This week, we will looking at time zones across the world. 

Y5: We will be exploring mountain travel to finish off our unit on Mountains. 

DT

This week we will undertake our DT project. We will be researching different types of bridges. We will be then design our own bridge. We will test the durability of our bridge, seeing how much weight it can hold. At the end we will evaluate our designs and see how we could have made them better.
