This week is our last week before Christmas and wow what a busy week we have a head of us.
Monday afternoon we will be going to the church for our dress rehearsal of the Nativity. Beech class parents/carers are invited to attend this but please bare with us as this is likely to be the first time we have performed it in church! It does give you the opportunity to get front row seats though!
Tuesday afternoon is the whole school carol service at St Mary's Church, where Beech class will be performing their nativity in front of the whole school. The church service starts at 2pm all parents and carers are welcome.
Thursday will be Chartwell's Christmas lunch followed by a lower school party in the afternoon.
All Christmas cards must be delivered to school by Thursday
Friday is our last day of the term
This week we will be enjoying Christmas activities and crafts, the children will be making Christmas cards and salt dough decorations.
In phonics, we are learning the y, z, zz, and qu sounds.
In drawing club we are continuing with The Snowman by Raymond Briggs
In Maths we will be recapping 1 more 1 less, number composition up to 5 and playing some shape games.
