WEDNESDAY IS AN INSET DAY THIS WEEK. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL!

 

Literacy

We will be engaging in a debate this week about the importance of school. How would we feel if we could not come to school, if we didn't have a choice? How would we feel if just boys were allowed? Or perhaps just girls? Is that fair?

 

Maths

We are finishing our fraction units this week before moving onto measuring mass. 

 

RE

We will be taking a much closer look at some biblical texts and what they mean to Christians about the death of Jesus. 

 

Computing

Y3: Will be learning how to use email safely this week. 

Y4: Will be thinking about the future of AI. 

 

DT

We will be practising our sewing this week by learning the basic stitches. 

 

Geography

Y3: This is our second week learning about volcanoes. 

Y4: We will be looking at the names of different settlements and understanding, 'What's in a name?'

Y5: We will be comparing climates across Eastern Europe.
