Maths

Yr 4 - We will use this week to consolidate all we have learnt in our Fractions unit. We will apply our skills and understanding in a range of problem solving activities. 

Yr 5 - We are starting a new unit on Area and Perimeter. We will begin with calculating the perimeter of rectangles.

Literacy

This week we will be looking at the features of a play script and write a play script of a conversation between Katherine Johnson and John Glenn.

Science

Yr 3 - We will be learning about how we see and how shadows are formed.

Yr 4 - This week we will be exploring if a circuit will work or not and learn about electrical conductors and insulators.

Yr 5 - Continuing with our human lifecycle, we will look at adults and elderly adults as well as comparing the gestational periods of mammals.

RE

This week we will be exploring a range of hymns that are often sung at Easter and think about the meaning of Jesus' death and resurrection within them. 

Computing

Yr 4 - We will be exploring the future of AI.

Yr 5 - We will add sound effects within our maze game to enhance the players experience.

DT

A cup of rice is our main focus for the remainder of this term. In our groups we will find a recipe using rice as the main ingredients. Each recipe will be from a different country around the world.
