Friday 29th November is an own clothes day for the children in exchange for donations for the school Christmas Colour Raffle. Each class has been allocated a colour and Beech Class is Red! Donations can be anything of your choice in your class colour. All treats and goodies welcome.

 

This week we will be learning about Firefighters, what they do and how they can help us. How fire fighting in the past is different to now. We will also be talking about fire safety and which items in our house maybe hot. 

This week in Drawing club we will be reading Superworm. We will be drawing superworm and superworm's super base! Our Get up Stand up words are Zooming, Superhuman, Timid and Heroic.

 

In phonics, we will continue to recap the basic 2 sounds. Please keep practising the sounds at home using the sound books and your phonics reading books. We will continue to practide our handwriting. 

 

In maths this week, we are learning about shapes with 4 sides and going on a shape hunt around school.

 

 We will be making superhero gadgets out of junk modelling, if you have any recycling you would like to donate it would be very welcome (no items that have contained nuts please)
