Maths

Yr 4 - One last week of decimals, we will be ordering and comparing decimals, rounding to a whole number and finally halves and quarters as decimals. 

Yr 5 - We will be learning how to use a protractor to measure angles up to 180 degrees and draw angles. We will also be calculating angles around a point and on a straight line.

 

Literacy

Continuing with The Barnabas Project, we will be focusing on the language we can use to develop our writing. We will see how we can use our sense and metaphors to enhance our descriptions and begin to think of a character to use in our adventure story.

 

Science

Yr 3 - Our new unit for this half term in Plants. To begin with we will be looking at part of a plant and their functions.

Yr 4 - This half term we will be learning about Habitats. We will learn about living things and their habitats.

Yr 5 - We will be learning about reproduction with a focus on how plants reproduce with sexual and asexual reproduction.

 

Art

This week we will be designing our homes. From the architectual designs we saw last week, we can think about any features that we would like to include in our designs.
