Maths

Yr 4 -  Our new unit is Fractions. We will be looking at mixed numbers and ordering and comparing them.

Yr 5 - We are strating a new unit on Decimals, Fractions and Percentages. To begin with we will be revisiting numbers with 2 deciamls places and find equivalent fractions and decimals. We will learn about thousandths.

Literacy

Having written our newspaper, this week we will be publishing our work and also maybe a little spelling test.

Science

Yr 3 - We will be evaluating our soil experiment.

Yr 4 - We will be evaluating our volume experiment. 

Yr 5 - To end our unit, we will be exploring the uses of everyday materials.

Art

We will make any finishing touches to our land/city scapes and then have a mmini gallery and share our work with one another.

Computing

Tuesday is Internet Saftey day. This years theme is 'Too good to be true'. We will be learning about how to protect ourselves and others from scams. We will discuss what this means to us and then think about:

• How is changing technology like generative AI going to impact the approach of scammers?
• What changes would young people like to see to help protect themselves moving forward?

RE

We will return to our main BIG question, 'What is holiness for Jewish people: a place, a time, an object or something else?'

We will discuss what we have learnt and share our ideas and thoughts to help us answer our question.
