Monday is Easter Monday which is a bank holiday.

Tuesday is a school INSET 

Whole school return on Wednesday. 

 

This week we are beginning to learn about The Royal family focussing our attention on Queen Elizabeth II. We will be going to find out information about the important moments in her life. 

 

In drawing club we are reading the book 'The King's Pants'. Our 'get up stand up words'  (vocabulary) are Regal, monarchy, elegant and commotion. This week we will be drawing The king and giving him a magic code to make something funny happen. 

 

In maths this week we are learning about 3D shapes, cubes, cuboids, spheres, cylinders, pyramids and cones.

 

 

In phonics, this week we are continuing to revisit the basics 3 sounds,. or, ur and ow. We will be writing words with these sounds in and writing a silly sentence.
