W/C 18th May
I can't believe it...another half term down! Well done everyone for all your hard work.
Don't forget Yr 5 have Forest School on Tuesday afternoon. Last week the children couldn't go out to the forest as we didn't have a parent helper. If you are able to give up your afternoon to help, please contact the school office.
Yr 4 - We will finish off our time unit and then spend the rest of the week consolidating this terms learning and polishing our timestables ready for the speed test after half term.
Yr 5 - Just one final step on reflection before moving back to our final Decimals unit.
Literacy
We will be putting the final publishing touches on our Sir David Attenborough biography.
Science
Yr 3 - We will take our final measurements of our sunflowers for our investigation and also learn about seed dispersal.
Yr 4 - This week we will be learning about human teeth and the different layers on them.
Yr 5 - We will be expanding on our yr 3 knowledge on pollination and then learning about asexual reproduction in plants.
Art
We will be continuing with our sculptures.
RE
Our key questions for this week are:
- How do you think it feels for Muslims to know all Muslims everywhere try to keep the five pillars?
- What do Muslims do on the hajj and how does it make them feel?
- Does being unable to go on Hajj exclude a Muslim from the ummah?
Computing
This week we will be revisiting online safety.
