We have an exciting week ahead of it, albeit a little shorter than normal. 

 

Monday: Bank Holiday Monday. 

 

Tuesday: Our trip to LegoLand for the day! Please see the letter that went home before Easter for more information. We will be leaving school by 8am so please arrive promptly. Children need to wear PE kits, please avoid jeans. Trainers. Remember a healthy packed lunch, no nuts and no sweets! Remember a small raincoat and suncream in rucksacks. Please do not allow your child to bring any money either as we will not be visiting the gift shop. We will aim to be back at school by 5pm - messages will be sent out if we are delayed. 

 

Thursday: VE Day celebrations! Please wear red, white or blue, or dress as an evacuee. 

 

Literacy

We are using fronted adverbials as well as short, snappy sentences to build tension and suspense in our story writing. 

 

Maths

We will be learning about money in our new unit for maths.
