This is our last full week together in Maple Class! We have lots of finishing off jobs to get through as well as lots of fun things! 

 

Literacy: This week we will plan and write our final piece of free writing. The children have absolutely loved free writing this year and they always get so excited to show off their writing skills. Will they write a newspaper report? A diary entry? A story? Or perhaps a piece of information writing? It's their choice!

 

THURSDAY: We are planning to go for our walk along the Serpent Trail from Petworth to Fittleworth. This is an exciting opportunity for the children to explore the local area, as part of our Geography curriculum, and discover the nature and wildlife along the trail, as part of our Science curriculum. Please remember to drop your children off at the agreed meeting place in Petworth at 9:15am.  If you have siblings to drop off at school, please do this first. We will not leave without you!
