Literacy

This week we are writing our own riddles. We will be learning how to write short, snappy sentences to create tension in our story writing.  

 

Maths

We will be continuing with fractions for Year 3 and decimals for Year 4. 

 

History

Y3: We will be finding out who the Ancient Egyptians and where they came from. 

Y4: We will be finding out about the Romans. Who were they? Why did they invade Britain?

Y5: We will be learning about the Kingdom of Benin from Africa. Why is this kingdom so significant? 

 

RE

We are finding out about Sikhism this week. What are the key beliefs? What key vocabulary do we need to know?

 

Computing

We will be using micro-bits this week, coding them to create our own name labels. 

 

Art

We will be using our sketchbooks to explore our own drawings for our sculptures.
