Maths

Yr 5 - We will be starting a new unit on Addition and Subtraction. We will be remembering how to use the column method to add and subtract as well as using mental strategies, rounding to check our answers and using the inverse.

Literacy

This week we will be moving on to the next part of the story, when Michael arrives on the island. We will be thinking about our senses and how he might have felt in that moment. 

Science

Yr 4 - We will be grouping plants and using classification keys to help us.

Yr 5 - After a very successful air resistance investigation, we will be planning and carrying out an investigation linked to water resistance.

Computing

Yr 4 - Using Logo we will be learning how to repeat commands and edit the size, thickness and colour of our line.

Yr 5 - We will be enhancing our quizzes with different features.

RE
