Maths

Yr 5 - We will be starting a new unit on Addition and Subtraction. We will be remembering how to use the column method to add and subtract as well as using mental strategies, rounding to check our answers and using the inverse.

Literacy

This week we will be consolidating all that we have been learning over the past few week and write a diary entry from a                    . We will have time to proof read and edit our writing.

Science

Yr 3 - We will be finishing our unit on Skeletons this week. We will be looking at a variety of skeletons to identify similarities and differences.

Yr 4 - We will be grouping plants and using classification keys to help us.

Yr 5 - Having made our parachutes and made our predictions, we will be carrying out our investigation to find out if the size of the parachute effects the time it takes for it to hit the ground.

Computing

Yr 4 - Using Logo we will be writing our own procedures to create different shapes and patterns.

Yr 5 - We will be focusing on Online Safety.
