Yr 5 - We will continue to explore numbers up to 1 million, partitioning, finding 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10,000 and 100,000 more or less and comparing and ordering numbers.

Literacy

This week we will be using the word bank that we created from last week to write a setting description of                      . We will focus on the word classes and choosing vocabulary to enhance our writing.

Science

Yr 3 - We will be learning about the functions of the skeleton.

Yr 4 - We will be exploring vertebrates and invertebrates.

Yr 5 - We will be learning about air resistance and begin to plan our parachute investigation.

History

Yr 4 - We will be finding our about Alex the Great. Who was he? What he do that was so 'great'? We will be finding out about his empire and civilization. 

Yr 5 - We will be exploring the graves of Anglo-Saxon women. What grave goods were discovered here? What was found at Sutton Hoo?
