W/C 13th October

Next week are Parent Consultations. If you would like an appointment to speak to us please sign up on MCAS.

We are available on Wednesday 15th October, Thursday 16th October and Wednesday 22nd October.

 

Maths

Yr 4 - We will be finishing our unit on Addition and Subtraction focusing on efficient subtraction, estimating answers and checking our answers using different strategies.

Yr 5 - We are starting a new unit on Multiplication and Division. We will begin with learning about multiples, factors and prime numbers.

 

Literacy

This week we will be publishing our diary we wrote about scaling Mount Everest.

 

Science

Yr 4 - We will be looking and solids, liquids and gases and learning about how they change states.

Yr 5 - We will carry out our water resistance investigation.

 

Art

Using the typography and words from last week we will create a map all about ourselves.

 

Computing

This week we will be spending some time talking about Internet Safety and ways in which we can stay safe on line. 

 

RE

We will be evaluating our RE learning from this term and answer our big question: How do Christians show their belief that Jesus is God incarnate?
