Literacy: We will be drafting our stories this week slowly, focussing on each part of our story plan each day. We will be considering how to start our sentences in interesting and varied ways. 

 

Maths: We will be ordering numbers and comparing numbers to 1,000 and up to 10,000. 

 

RE: We will be reading the next part of Genesis to find out God's instructions to humans for caring for the world. We will be asking how we care for our planet and what more we can do to help. 

 

Computing: We will be logging into Purple Mash this week and accessing our new unit of work. Year 3s will be learning how to Code and Year 4s will be learning how to program and write a quiz using Scratch. 

 

History:

Y3s: We will be finding out where Stone Age people lived, comparing and contrasting houses throughout the stone age with houses today. 

Y4s: Looking at historical artefacts like pots and other pottery, we will be finding out about daily life for the ancient Greeks. We will be researching various roles in society in our groups. 

Y5s: We will be looking closely at Anglo-Saxon coins and other artefacts and asking what these teach us.
