Maths

Yr 4 - This week we will be consolidating what we have learnt over this term and working on some reasoning and problem solving tasks.

Yr 5 - We are slowly coming towards the end of our Fractions unit. This week we will be adding and subtracting mixed numbers.

 

Literacy
This week we will begin to write our non chronological report on Mount Everest. We will look at different sentence types and how to start out sentences in different ways and extend them.

 

Science

Yr 3 - We will be learning about animal diets and the difference between herbivore, carnivore and omnivore. 

Yr 4 - We will be carrying out our evaporation investigation.

Yr 5 - This week we will be learning more about the planets in our solar system.

 

RE

Our key question for this week is:

  • What lessons do Hindu children learn about God from their scriptures?

 

Computing

Yr 4 -  We will be using our new skills to create a poster to promote our Christmas play.

Yr 5 - We will be using Scratch to create a small game.
