Tuesday 11th November - We will walk to St Marys Church for a Remembrance Service. 

The children will still have PE on Tuesday so please wear PE kits.

Maths

Yr 4 - This week we will be focusing on our 9, 7 and 11 timestables.

Yr 5 - Continuing with our fractions, this week we will be converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions, comparing and ordering fractions smaller and greater than 1 and then adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominators.

Literacy

This week we will be revise using conjunctions in our writing and the features of a non chronological report.

Science

Yr 3 - We will be continuing to learn the importance of each food group is for our bodies and explore what is needed for a balanced diet.

Yr 4 - We will be carrying out our investigation to see if the temperature of the water affects the time it takes for the ice to melt. 

Yr 5 - We are beginning our new unit on Space, starting with Our Solar System.

RE

This week our keep questions are:

Computing

Yr 4 - Using Word, we will be continue to learn all about the different features we can use to enhance our work. Last week we learnt how to edit our text, this week we will be learning how to change backgrounds, add and edit borders and visual graphics.

Yr 5 - After our introduction to programming using Scratch, we will continue to learn how to programme our sprite move across the screen and perform different commands.
