Literacy - This week we will be looking at past and present tense. We will  be searching for past tense verbs within an extract from the 'The Sandcastle'. We will be retelling the story in a story mountain and then retelling the story using the punctuation learnt over the year. We will also be answering some comprehension questions.

Phonics - Year 2 will be revising the possessive apostrophe and apostrophe contractions. We will also be revising their common exception words.

Year 1 - will be looking at spelling ruules for words ending in /ing/

Maths - Year 2 will be drawing pictograms in 2, 5 and 10, interpreting pictograms in 2, 5 and 10, collecting and drawing their own graph and interpreting the data. We will also be exploring the language of position.

 Design and Technology - We will be starting sewing our puppets Monday afternoon and if anyone is free to help please do offer.

Geography -We will be exploring a seaside town.

Science - Year 1 will be looking at what they have planted and grown this year. Year 2 will be adding to their butterfly diary and writing up about what our plant experiment has shown.

Computing - Year 2 will be making music on the computers and year 1 will be developing their skills making a maze.
