Maths

We are finishing off our Place Value units this week before moving onto Addition and Subtraction. 

Art

This week, the children are choosing their own project to work on for the next few weeks. They will be given a few choices to choose from using a range of sources and media. 

Computing

We are starting our new units of learning using Purple Mash. The children have been given their new logins and we will be using the software to create logos, as well as desktop publishing. 

RE

We will be considering how Christians use prayer in their everyday life. Who do they pray to? How do Christians believe pray can impact their life? 

History

Y3 We are asking, 'How did life change in the Bronze Age?'

Y4 We are asking, 'What was the significance and purpose of oracle bones in the Shang Dynasty?'

Y5 We are asking, 'What do Anglo-Saxon artefacts teach us about Anglo-Saxon culture?'

Science

Yr 3 - Continuing with skeletons, this week we will be learning about animals with and without a spine.

Yr 4 - We will be grouping plants, focusing on flowering and non flowering plants and different parts of plants.
