Literacy in Maple Class

This week we will be exploring our new book. We are focusing on nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs. 

Maths

We are beginning to partition numbers now and exploring different ways numbers can be partitioned. We will also be finding 1, 10 and 100 more and less of any given number. 

History

Y3: We are finding out what changed for people living in Stone Age Britain. 

Y4: We are going to explore what it was like living in the Shang Dynasty

Y5: We will be learning about the names of places and their origins in Anglo-Saxon Britain. 

THURSDAY: 

On Thursday Year 3 will be visiting Butser Farm. Please see the information provided by the office for the cost of the trip, and packed lunches. 

Year 4 will be taught in Maple Class by Mrs Murphy.
