This week we are continuing with our Autumn theme. We would love the children to bring in any Autumn items they find this weekend for our investigation station. These could be a beautiful autumn leaf, an interesting pine cone, acorns, conkers, anything autumn! 

 

We will also continue with Drawing Club, we will be focusing on the story 'Mixed' by Aree Chung and we will be mark making which will make funny things happen to the characters in the story. We will be learning new vocabulary such as

harmonious, triple, boastful, unique, populated and divided. 

 

We will be reading the story leaf man and using leaves to make our own leaf creature or person.

 

In phonics this week we will be learning three new sounds, /i/ /n/ /m/ /d/ during phonics the children are now beginning to blend these sounds together to read words.
