Wednesday we will be going to Amberley Museum. 

Literacy - We will be continuing to develop our use of conjunctions like because, and, but, so to extend our sentences. We will be using conjunctions to extend sentences we are going to write about a poem and answer questions about a poem. We will also be writing a recount about our trip.

Phonics - Year 2 will be learning to spell words where we have to drop the e and add er or est. 

Year 1 will be learning the 'choose to use' spellings for /wr/ /ph/ and /au/

Maths- Year 2 will be calculating multiplication sentences, using arrays, making equal groups by sharing an then by grouping.

Year 1 will be beginning a new maths topic, addition and subtraction with numbers within 20. We will be adding by counting on, using our number bonds, finding and making number bonds to 20 and making doubles. 

History - We will be finding out George Stephenson and the changes in trains over the years.

Art - We will be exploring printing with foam.

RE - We will be finding out how Jewish people put Tesuvah into their daily life.

PSHE - We will be exploring how we should be looking after our bodies by having a healthy diet.

Computing  - Year 1 will be developing their skills in creating an animated story and year 2 will be developing their coding skills.
