Maths

Yr 4 - We will be learning to use the formal method to divide.

Yr 5 - We will continue to use the formal method to divide and then apply our new multiplication and division methods to solve word problems.

 

Literacy

Thie week we will be learning about speech and use inverted commas within our writing.

 

Science

Yr 3 - We will be exploring soil and learning about its importance.

Yr 4 - We will be investigating sounds and volume.

Yr 5 - We will be starting our new unit: Properties of Materials. We will begin with testing materials for magntism, hardness and transparency. 

 

Art

We will spend the next few week bringing our design to life using a range of materials.

 

Computing

Yr 4 - We will be learning about melody and pitch. We will create melodic patterns using 2sequence and Busy Beats and use a variety of notes and experiment with pitch.

Yr 5 - Continuing with databases, we will be creating queries. Building queries to find information.

 

RE

We will continue with our research on our chosen Jewish celebration.
