Parents Consultations this week. I am offering:

Wednesday 1:30pm - 3:10pm, Thursday 3:30pm - 4:30pm and Monday 19th October with Mrs Phillips 3:30pm - 5:10pm. Please do contact the office if you have not booked your appointment. Thank you. 

Literacy: This week we will be writing descriptions using expanded noun phrases, before writing letters of advice to the little boy from our story using conjunctions. 

Maths: Year 3s will be adding across a ten. Year 4s, will be subtracting two 4 digit numbers, with exchanges. 

PSHE: This week, we will be learning about how people manage change and loss, particularly looking at grief. We will focus on different examples of change in our lives and how these can affect people in different ways. The safe environment for the children will be created so they know they are free to discuss emotions if they so wish, or they can choose not to participate if they'd prefer. 

RE: We are nearing the end of our unit on The Trinity and so the children are going to be reflecting on what thy have been learning about this half term so far. Are they able to explain their learning to a younger child? They will be creating posters this week to describe the trinity and demonstrating their understanding. 

Art: The children have been choosing which projects they would like o complete with their charcoal and so this week, we will be finishing off these projects and sharing them as a gallery with the rest of the class.
