Maths

Yr 4 - We are starting a new unit of Length and Perimeter. We will be measuring in km and m and converting lengths, perimeter of rectangles and the perimeter of rectilinear shapes.

Yr 5 - We are going back to Fractions! This week we will be multiplying fractions and calculating the fraction of a quantity.

 

Literacy

This week we will be looking at the features of a newspaper and start to plan and write about newspaper report. 

 

Science

Yr 3 - This week we will be learning about the importance of soil.

Yr 4 - We will be planning an investigation on volume. 

Yr 5 - We will be investigating which materials are electrical conductors.

 

Art

We are continuing with our fashion design thinking about our colours, patterns and textures.

 

RE

We will be continuing with creating our presentations on our Jewish celebration.

 

Computing

Yr 4 - Using BusyBeats, we will be adding different layers to build up music.

Yr 5 - We will be debugging a branching database.
