Our final week before half term.

This week is Children's Mental Health Week. Throughout the week we will do a some activities to promote and discuss what we can do to help and support our mental health.

It is also Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 10th February. The theme this year is, 'Smart tech, safe choices- exploring the safe and responsible use of AI.'

 

Maths

Yr 4 - This week we will be starting a new unit on Fractions. We will be learning about mixed numbers and ordering and comparing them.

Yr 5 - Continuing with our Decimal and Percentages unit, we will be learning about hundredths and thousandths as decimals and fractions. 

 

Literacy

We will be publishing our newspaper reports this week. 

 

Science

Yr 3 - After making our predictions last week, we will be carrying out our soil investigation to see which soil absorbs most water.

Yr 4 - After a successful investigation last week, we will evaluate the investigation.

Yr 5 - We will be investigating which material is best for heat insulation.

 

Art

We will finish our fashion design and share our work.

 

RE

Our final week to present our presentations on our Jewish celebrations. 

 

Computing

We will focus on Safer Internet Day and the theme of Smart Tech and AI.
