Literacy 

We will be starting our new book this week, 'The Seed of Doubt'. We will be using this text to write some short poems, write setting descriptions, as well as discussions about our own goals and aspirations.   

Maths 

Y4: We will be rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 or 1,000. 

Y3: We will be starting our addition unit learning how to apply our number bonds to 10, add and subtract 1s, 10s and 100s. 

RE

We will be learning about baptism in church this week and how this connects with the Trinity. 

Computing

Y3 are learning all about desktop publishing beginning with words and pictures. 

Y4 are learning to create shapes using 2Logo software on Purple Mash. This week we are following commands. 

PSHE

We will be learning about how to manage our worries. I will post a message about this on the dojo too, to encourage you to have those conversations with your children at home.
