SWIMMING - WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY

Transition day this coming Wednesday AM. Reception children will be joining Mrs Blackwood and year 1s for a morning of fun transition activities. 

This week in drawing club we will be reading Handa's Surprise. We will be drawing Handa, inventing a way to keep the animals away from the fruit, drawing an item in the basket for our friend. Our 'Get Up, Stand Up' words are 

Scrumptious 

Bitter 

Mischievous 

Crafty 

Flabbergasted 

 

The children can also complete some Handa's surprise challenges to earn extra stickers!

We will also be comparing animals in Africa to Animals in England. 

 

In phonics, this week we will be continuing with the Basics 4. We will be reading and writing words with more than 3 sounds such as chomp, thump, 

 

In maths, we are using positional language and describing the position of different items, we will be looking at patterns and
