SWIMMING WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY

 

This week we will be learning about dinosaurs and reading lots of dinosaur stories. 

 

In drawing club, we will be reading the story 'Are the Dinosaurs dead Dad.' We will be drawing the T-Rex, the museum,  setting a trap to stop the T-Rex eating Dave and Dad and wondering what the T-Rex is protecting, is it an egg? We will also be writing magic codes.

 

We will also be continuing with our Sunflower Challenge, observing how our seedlings are growing.

 

We are also going to be making mini worlds in a shoe box. Please could bring in any shoe boxes for next week that would be amazing. 

 

In phonics, this week we will be continuing with the Basics 3. We will be recapping ur, ow, oi, er.  We will be reading and writing words containing these sounds. Please look on Tapestry to practise the Basics 3 sounds with Mrs McKee. 

 

In maths, we will be working on shape and doubling. We will also look at grouping odd and even numbers and sharing and grouping.
