WEDNESDAY IS PE DAY

THURSDAY IS FOREST SCHOOL THURSDAY

This week we will be reading 'The Magic Porridge Pot'  In drawing club we will talking, drawing and writing magic codes for The Old Lady, where the little girl lives, magic potions/spells and the party and who they will invite. Our 'get up, stand up' words are enchanted, conversation, despair, gloopy. 

 

We will be making houses, stoves and porridge pots out of junk modelling. We will be retelling the story around the classroom. 

 

In phonics, this week we will be learning the sounds /y/ /z/ /zz/ /qu/

 

 

We will talking about healthy foods and particularly breakfasts. We will then be writing shopping lists for Mrs McKee to buy ingredients from the supermarket so that we can make porridge to eat at school.
