Literacy

This week we will be learning about different tenses including present perfect and the past perfect. 

Maths

We are continuing to learn about fractions this week including counting in fractions along a number line, finding equivalent fractions and using bar models to help us add and subtract fractions. 

DT

This week we will be sewing a blanket stitch border onto our bookmarks. 

Computing

Y3s are learning how to touch type using the laptops. We are also emailing each other through Purple Mash, refreshing our skills learnt in year 2. 

Y4s are beginning their PowerPoint presentations this week, deciding what to present to the whole class in a few weeks' time. They will be learning how to add new slides and insert images. 

RE

We will be finding out how Jesus saved people in the Bible. 

THURSDAY 5th MARCH - World Book Day! We are hoping to have a Roald Dahl theme for our dressing up in line with our Literacy lessons on the BFG. But there is no pressure to choose a character from a Roald Dahl book if you have another favourite book character. I look forward to seeing all your wonderful ideas!
