w/b 16th March

Maths - We are finishing off our units this week and completing our end of term assessments.

Literacy - We will be learning how to write a set of instructions for how the BFG catches dreams using imperative verbs.

DT - The children worked brilliantly to complete a running stitch for the outside border of their bookmarks last week, and now we are using a cross stitch to add details and patterns.

Computing - Year 4s have been working hard adding to their Powerpoint presentations ready to present to their rest of the class next week. I will be working alongside them this week to finalise and check their presentations so far. Year 3s have been mastering their touch typing skills and have actually really impressed me! They will be completing a range of tasks this week to put their new found skills to the test.

RE - We will be learning about a very special group of Christians called The Salvation Army. Their mission is to help those in need in their communities through opening up the church as well as sending missionaries out to different parts of the world.

Parent Consultation meetings will be taking place next week. Please do speak to the office if you have not yet signed up.
