SCIENCE WEEK!

This week, we will be exploring science across the week. I have a few things planned to create some interest in science. Why don't you talk about science around the home too? 

Literacy - We will be drafting our poems this week, based on Dreams with the BFG. 

Maths - We are starting new units this week. Year 3 will begin their measuring unit using grams and kilograms. Year 4s will be learning about decimals. 

Geography - Year 3s will be learning about Tsunamis. Year 4s will be finding out about the perfect place to settle. Year 5s will be finding out about the Chernobyl disaster. 

DT - We will be sewing a running stitch onto our bookmarks to create a neat edge. 

RE - We will be asking, How do Christians serve one another?
