Welcome back after half term. I hope you all had a lovely week, kept safe over the stormy weather and enjoyed the sunshine at the end.

We have a busy first week back!

Tuesday is Shove Tuesday (pancake day) and I have some pancakes for you for your snack!

Wednesday -Reminder for PE kits.

Thursday - World Book day. Are you going to dress up as a book character or a word for us to guess? We'll be dressing up too! During the day we will have the author of 'Polar Bear, Polar Bear' by Joan Keir Burnett coming in to read her published book with us and doing some drama activities around her book.

Please keep practising your times tables as much as possible.

In maths Year 1 will be comparing length and heights and beginning to measure length using non-standard units of measuring.

Phonics - Year 2- we will be revising the alternative spellings for /oa/ and /m/

Year 1 will be revising phase 5 sounds oy, ir and the tricky words Mr, Mrs, looked, called, asked.

RE- In R.E we will be retelling the story of Easter. We will be playing pass the parcel and each layer will have a different part of the story. We will be using the pictures to retell the story of Easter.
