This morning in our Class assembly, we will be finishing our prayer hands that we started last week. Draw round your hand today and write 5 things you are thankful for on the fingers of your handprint. Spend some time reflecting on God's goodness in your life and some things that are good for you right now.

Maths - Recap: Subtract a 2-digit number from a 2-digit number - crossing tens

Literacy: Today I would like you to write the next part of your myth. This middle section will introduce your mythical creature so spend some time planning what this creature will be like. You may wish to draw your mythical creature and label the main features. Usually a mythical creature is half an animal and half human. What will yours look like?

*What special powers will your creature have?

*Is there something that the creature is protecting that your hero needs to get hold of? Describe this special object today.

Remember we have learned how to use speech marks when writing dialogue.

*Can you include some speech between your hero and the mythical creature?

You may have time today to write the battle scene of your myth. How will your hero choose to fight the mythical creature? Will your hero get hurt? Include some description of what is happening.

Have a go, get writing and we can edit it tomorrow.
