SPORTS DAY IS THURSDAY!!

Literacy  - This week we will be using the text 'Flotsam' to base our own adventure story on, exploring what could be happening beneath the surface of the ocean. 

Phonics - Year 2 will be revising the apostrophe for possession and spelling our common exception words.

Year 1 will be revisiting phase 5 sounds.

Maths- Year 2 will be consolidating their learning of the last half term by seeing what they have learnt. They will be practising their times tables and arithmetic and solving word problems.

Year 1 will be learning about time. We will be learning about hours, miutes and seconds, telling the time to the hour and to the half hour. You can help your children at home by looking at an analogue clock and helping your child read the time when it's an O’Clock and half past. 

Science - Year 2 will be continuing to explore how we can help wildlife. Year 1 will be finding out how their potatoes have grown.

Art - We will be making our houses using junk modelling.
