Special notices:  

• On Monday we will swim again, please ensure swim kits are in school and a warm jumper for after.  

• Parent ‘Expectations and meet the teacher’ 3:20 Thursday 17th in the hall. Children can play on the playground, supervised by an adult whilst we have this short meeting.  

Maths - This week we will continue with our place value unit with numbers up to 10,000,000. This will include rounding and comparing. 

English In English we will be looking at how Britain prepared for war. The use of persuasive language and imperative verbs will be explored.  

Science – Living things and their habitat: We will look at classifying animals and the animal kingdom.  

Topic (History) - In topic we will learn about Dunkirk.
