Forest school is Tuesday for year 1.

Literacy -This week we will be doing some drama about the book Vlad and the great fire. We will be thinking about our senses and pretending we are back at that time. We will be describing the setting in 1666 and writing a diary pretending we were there during the fire.

Phonics - Year 2 will be revising alternative spelling patterns for /oa/ /ue/ /oy/ and learning the spelling pattern where the c makes a /s/.

Year 1 will be continuing to revisit the phase 4 sounds.

Maths - Year 2 will be counting in 3's, estimating numbers on a number line practise, partitioning numbers in different ways practise and bonds to 10.

Year 1 will be learning about part whole models, writing number sentences and learning about fact families. 

Science - Year 1 will be exploring taste and year 2 will be exploring the basic needs of humans.

History - We will be exploring the events f the Great Fire of London.

Art - We will be creating drawings using a continuos line.

PSHE - We will be considering how we can change our thoughts and feelings. We will be thinking about the ups and the downs.
