w/b 13th July 2026

Literacy: We will be doing our very last CEW test this week. The children won't be getting their usual weekly spelling patterns this week so they'll be given time to practise the CEW they still need to master. Then we will be publishing our David Attenborough posters for the rest of the week. The children have done a brilliant job so far with researching and drafting what they would like to publish. I know they will be putting in so much effort and pride into their final posters.

Maths: We have come to the end of our units in maths so we will spend the remainder of the week using our fluency and arithmetic skills to problem solve.

DT: We will be evaluating our savoury sandwiches this week.

Computing: We will be completing our animations this week ready to show the rest of the class in next week's last lesson.

Geography: Y3: We will be looking at how land is used for farming. Y4: We will be learning about how water is treated to make it safe for us to use. Y5: We will be learning about grid references.

Swimming: We will be using the pool Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning so please remember to bring your kits.

PE: PE kits to be worn on Tuesday and Wednesday as normal this week.

Forest Schools: Y3 to remember their Forest Schools clothes on Tuesday for the afternoon.
