Thursday Forest School

This week in Beech class we are going to become sunflower experts. We will be looking at famous artists and their sunflower pictures and then  creating our own. We will learn what sunflowers need to grow. We will be looking at the seed packets and placing these on a 10 frame to see how many are in a packet. We will be using clay to make sunflowers. 

In phonics this week we will be playing games and assessing the children to see how well they know the phase 3 sounds. 

In maths this week we will be taking away numbers within 10 and playing some shape games.
