Literacy - This week we will be finding out about blue whales and writing some non-chronological reports. We will be watching some clips about whales, making notes about them and creating a fact file. We will be focusing on writing questions and statements.

Phonics - Year 2 will be revising contractions and suffixes.

Year 1 -

Maths- Year 2 will be continuing shape patterns involving turns, practising their times tables, solving missing number problems and difference.

Year 1- 

Science - Year 1 will be looking at seasonal changes. Year 2 we will be concluding our butterfly diaries and exploring what we can do for wildlife.

Geography - We will be reading the book 'Someone swallowed Stanley' and creating posters about ocean pollution.

Art - We will be designing our own buildings - exploring colour and design.

Computing - Year 1 will be developing their skills with coding and year 2 will be creating more music with 2sequence.
