This half term, we are continuing to find out about life in Ancient Greece. We will be designing and making our very own Greek pots, we will be doing some sewing of Medusa and writing a tourist guide to Ancient Greece. As well as all this, we will be having our very own Greek Day in school on Tuesday 9th November, when we can all dress up as our favourite Greek characters. We will be competing a series of Greek tasks throughout the day including making a Greek feast, taking part in some traditional Greek Olympic games and learning how to write using the Greek alphabet.
Towards the end of the half term, we will begin to work on our Christmas performance, ready to perform to an audience before the end of the term. Details to follow! Forest Schools will continue to be on Monday afternoons for a couple more week. Our PE lessons will be basketball on Monday afternoons, once Forest Schools has finished, and dance on Thursday afternoons. Keep reading daily and practising your spellings. We will continue to practise our Times Tables this half term as we begin our unit on Multiplication and Division in maths.
