Thursday - Forest School

This term we will are learning about people that help us. Following Bonfire night we learnt what fire fighters do and how they help people. This week we will learning about how doctors and nurses help people. We will be using bandages to bandage up our toys and discussing when we have been to the doctors or hospital. 

In drawing club this week we will be watching Banaman. We will draw bananaman, decide what the laser beam will turn Dr Gloom into, invent a way for doctor Gloom to get around now that he is a baby. 

In maths this week we will be l eering about shapes. We will be identifying circles and triangles and looking for shapes in the environment. 

This week in phonics we will finish the Basics 2. Your child has a set of the basics 2 sounds in their book bag. Please use these cards to practise the sounds. You could also use the sound cards to make CVC words such as pin, hat, pig. 

Wednesday is remembrance day. Beech class will be making poppies during the week and on Wednesday at 11am will watch "Poppies."
